The Highlight
Mataking Island is the ideal getaway for both the diver and non-diver surrounded by stunning turquoise waters. It is located just 45-55 minutes boat ride from Semporna.
Timba Timba Island is covered with soft, pure white sand, also known for the wonderful beach great to look for rare marine life.
The Experience
Mataking Island has many diving sites that attract both professional and amateur divers each year. While most of all are perfectly suitable for beginners, some (such as North Point) should only be visited by experienced divers. Large Green Turtles that are thought to be the biggest in the area are quite common. Divers can gear up and explore the Eel Garden, Coral Garden, Nudibranch Garden, Turtle Playground, Lobsters Lair and Hump Head Point. If you’re into stingrays and giant moray eels don’t miss out on regular sightings of these marine wonders at the Shipwreck site.
An equally exhilarating scuba dive can be found off Timba -Timba at the Sting Ray City dive site. Aptly named, this site never fails the scuba diver to find the shy and beautiful Blue-spot stingrays resting under the coral beds and rock formations.

- 08.15 am Meet at Jetty 08:30 am Boat Departure 09.30 am. Timba-Timba for 15 mins stopover (depends on tide). Embrace yourself with breathtaking scenery surroundings on the island with a selfie or “wefie”. 10:00 am 1st TRY SCUBA session at Mataking. 11.00 am Lunch Break 12.15 pm 2nd Snorkeling 14.15 pm 3rd Snorkeling 15.30 pm Back to Semporna.

- PRICE includes towels, lunch, snorkel & mask, dive gears, tea, snacks, drinking water, jetty fees and dive guide's guiding. We capture FREE underwater photography.
- Strictly no expecting mothers, serious medical history allowed for the trip.
- Please note that the transfer from Semporna Hotel to Jetty Pelancongan is not included in the package. - Surface interval of 18 hours is highly recommended prior to flights after diving.
- Private island. It is not allowed to enter sandy beach due to it is private property.
- What to bring: sun-block lotion, change of clothes, towel, cap/hat, slipper.
- A medical certificate is required for divers aged 55 and above to ensure fitness for diving with no HEART, LUNG, SURGERY and etc before.
- Every tour runs rain or shine. The tour will never be cancelled due to rain. We will do our best to proceed with every tour, however, in case of very bad whether some tours could be subject to reschedule or rerouting. You could double check our exceptional rain policy tour list below. We ask clients to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour departure, to check the weather conditions and choose accordingly. No-shows will not be refunded.

Strictly no expecting mothers, serious medical history allowed for the trip. It is by your own risks and we will not responsible for any injury or costs involved if the persistent to be on board.
The itinerary will be adjusted according to the weather, tides, waves, number of people, departure time and other reasons if safety condition is not allowed.
- Medicals: All diving guests are required to sign a self-declaration medical. If you are taking part in a diving course on-board, you are required to a sign a medical form prior to starting the course. If you have, or think you have, any of the medical conditions listed you will need signed clearance from a doctor valid within 6 months of your planned trip. Where doctor’s clearance is needed, we ask you to arrange this before arrival where possible and to bring it with you to avoid any delays and additional costs. No last minute itinerary changed or activities changed is acceptable or refundable due to the medical conditions of scuba diving with the Appendix 1 & Divers Medical Questionaire.
